Enjoying many processed meats while in northern NJ | Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese on a hard roll for breakfast (at a diner!) & a Hirams hot dog for lunch!
Moody light at Common House this am.
What a great day trip to Roanoke, Virginia! 🌟
Life’s been a wild ride recently with dinner parties, work picking up, starting a new side job as a barista, plus doing many fun things during the evenings. So thankful that summer means joy and fun, laughter and excitement, but I especially love summer swims!
I recently came across this beautiful prayer for summer. When I read it out loud to @robertsapunarich I almost cried!
Yesterday my brother took us to the Armand Bayou Nature Center, where he volunteers every week. We also had some delicious Latin American breakfast!
We’ve been having such a fab time on our family vacation to the Texas gulf! Lots of beach time and so much seafood! We went fishing, went to the Moody Garden aquarium, and went to an Astros game. Both @robertsapunarich and I have been having a blast!

A few of the illustrations in a gorgeous 1968 edition of Plato’s Symposium. The artist is Eugene Karlin.
Really enjoying my time in Texas seeing my parents. Here are some highlights so far. Eating Blue Bell Texas Sheet Cake ice cream while watching a lightning storm far off and taco Tuesday at a local bar at the Marina in Granbury.
As a fully vaccinated person it was very thrilling to go to my local Trader Joe’s without a mask! I’m saddened that many still feel the need to wear masks despite being vaccinated, but I know it will be very hard to unlearn these behaviors. I hope I may have inspired others today
American Airlines certainly didn’t make it easy BUT we’ve just rebooked our St. Cuthbert’s way/UK trip for September/October. Praying that things continue to improve between now and then! We’re mostly hoping all the quarantine and testing schemes/protocols have been removed.
Tuesday was my first CSA pickup for the season. There was an abundance of radishes, bok choy, and spring onions so obviously I made kimchi! | I loosely used this recipe
Some monogramming for a newborn quilt ❤️🪡
Back home in Charlottesville after a great weekend away visiting the in-laws. Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay have really grown on me!
Enjoying a beautiful sunny day in Annapolis! Shopped around at Old Fox Books, which might be the best bookstore I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting — truly magical! Then fish and chips (with lots of vinegar of course!) right on the docks for lunch. | @robertsapunarich
Kicking off “Me Made May” with this mashup dress. It’s a Wiksten Shift Dress + Seamwork Benning that I created yesterday. I love it… but wish I had added pockets.
I’m so proud of this man! He competed in a 9 mile relay race of sorts yesterday with his local workout crew. They may have come in last place but he’s #1 in my heart! 🥇❤️ @robertsapunarich
Nothing better than a new Mockingbird Magazine! And it’s really no surprise that this might be my favorite one yet!
Completed day 2 of my C25K program. I really enjoyed today’s run! This song from Rooney was my favorite on my running playlist.
Today we hiked the Blue Ridge Tunnel! Then afterwards we ate lunch with our hiking friends at the ix park farmers market!
