Today Robbie and I went out to explore one of the canyons that lies just a short few miles from our home. Trabuco Canyon is a small community with a general store, a Mexican cantina, and a steak house, plus a variety of residential homes. It feels out of place as it is adjacent to South Orange County’s mini mansions and cookie-cutter track homes, which makes it an ideal escape from the monotony and stucco homes. From our front door it took us maybe 10 minutes to drive to the Trabuco Canyon General Store, we got craft glass bottle sodas and sat outside the store enjoying the unique setting. As we were getting in our car to go back home a girl was riding a horse slowly down the road.
