Speaking about the Sun

After a long week (hi hello sleep regression!) it was lovely to spend a day just doing lovely things, with Etta is tow!

The day began with a quick trip to Bellair Farm with a friend, preceded by a cortadito at Guajiros. We picked so many ruby red tomatoes, like gems on the very laden vines! We looked for the farm pigs but they were AWOL. We picked a lovely bouquet of zinnias, then we grabbed my CSA share and were back on the road to Cville.

E and I had lunch with Robbie and then walked along Preston Ave, checking out Twice is Nice and Cou Cou Rachou (lovely!). We ran into my life-long friend Jana!

Life has been so chaotic and often stressful recently what with a three month old, moving to a new house, my job picking back up, and recent travels, but saying “to hell with work and chores” and treating myself to a couple nice experiences was such a treat!
